After two decades of laughter, music, and unbreakable bonds, Super Junior once again reminded everyone why they remain one of the most beloved groups in K-pop history. The sold-out SUPER SHOW 10 stop in Manila lit up the SM Mall of Asia Arena last October 4, 2025 – a night that celebrated not just their 10th world tour, but their 20th anniversary since debut, proving that some legends only shine brighter with time.
It’s my third Super Show as a working journalist, and I must say – this is one that any ELF, whether new or longtime, shouldn’t miss.
A Legendary Opening
From the moment the lights dimmed, fans already knew they were witnessing something historic. The full-house arena erupted with deafening cheers as the opening VCR played, flashing scenes from the group’s two-decade journey before launching into the iconic “Twins (Knock Out)”, followed by “U” – songs that instantly transported everyone back to Super Junior’s earliest days.
The members, dressed in sleek white outfits and black suits, commanded the stage with unmatched confidence. The medley of “Black Suit”, “Mamacita”, and “SUPERMAN” brought the energy to a peak early on, reminding everyone that 20 years later, the supermens of K-pop are still unstoppable.

Even after two decades, Super Junior’s chemistry remains effortless and genuine. The members charmed the crowd with their signature humorous and heartfelt Taglish greetings, from words such as “Mabuhay!”, “Mahal ko kayo!”, “Namiss ko kayong lahat!”, the members greeted everyone with smiling faces as they looked towards the sea of sapphire blue lightsticks held by their fans.
At one moment, Leeteuk even recalled their last Super Show 9 concert here in 2022, which was first postponed, then eventually stretched for two days. “This time,” he said, “I finally saw smiles on the promoters’ faces — back then, they were full of tears.” The crowd responded with laughter and applause, sharing in the nostalgia.
The emotional energy carried through as they performed more early hits like “Super Girl”, before shifting gears with “Haircut” and “Say Less.”
A Setlist That Spanned Eras
If there’s one thing SUPER SHOW 10 did perfectly, it was capturing Super Junior’s entire legacy in one sweeping night. After their high-octane openers, the group slowed things down with songs such as “Walkin’”, “I Know”, “Our Love”, “No Other”, “From U”, “In My Dream”, and “Dorothy.”
A touching VCR was then shown, telling the story of a fan who grew up alongside the group – a scene that hit close to home for many, striking fans with mixed emotions as they relate to the experience of holding on to supporting and loving Super Junior, despite all the odds life has given.
Then came one of the show’s most delightful moments – the members returning to the stage in animal jumpsuits under the concept of Super Animals to perform “Miracle.” As soon as the song began, the arena filled with screams and singing, with lightsticks swaying to form a brilliant sapphire blue ocean – a living symbol of the group’s unbreakable bond with ELF.

What followed was pure chaos and fun – the kind only Super Junior can deliver – with performances of the songs “Me (KR ver.)”, “Rokkugo”, “D.N.A.”, “Rockstar”, “A-CHA”, “Express Mode”, “Mr. Simple”, “Bonamana”, “Sorry, Sorry (Rock ver.)”, and “Don’t Don.” Every transition was seamless, while every performance was a celebration of two decades of Super Junior’s artistry.
This year’s Manila stop also saw the return of Heechul on the Philippine stage, who was met with thunderous screams every time he appeared. His trademark wit and playful banter kept fans laughing, especially during the chaotic “Rokkugo” and “A-CHA” performances. At the same time, the other members all waved, smiled, and sent hearts into the crowd, making sure no section of the arena felt left out.
One Sapphire Blue Ocean And A Meaningful Celebration

The encore turned the concert into something truly sentimental. The members came back on stage performing “Marry U” as the entire arena sang with them. Then, with “Full of Happiness”, they walked like a train throughout the stage while singing while glancing at everyone with spontaneous dances at the end – a scene that perfectly captured what Super Junior stands for: happiness, connection, and endless fun.
For the night’s final bow, the group then gathered at center stage. Expressing their admiration and gratitude, Eunhyuk told everyone that he actively looks online and that he saw several fan projects being made, but notably the Cebu Dancing Inmates’ new video dancing to ‘Sorry, Sorry’ and ‘Express Mode’, re-enacting the 2009 viral video that made waves worldwide, with member Leeteuk acknowledging that it became a meaningful part of their history due to its uniqueness and significance. There’s also a mention of a special fountain show for Super Junior.
Leeteuk also recalled how their story began in the Philippines, sharing that originally, their tour was already over without a Manila stop, and then suddenly, there was a phone call from the Philippines asking, “How can we have a Super Junior show here in Manila?”
Then they decided to proceed and perform in the Philippines, and the rest was history.
“I hope we can make more fun and amazing memories to come”, he then added.
The other members also expressed their thanks and appreciation to Filipino ELFs for their continuous love and support over all these years.

From start to finish, SUPER SHOW 10 in Manila wasn’t just another concert – it was a 20-year anniversary reunion and celebration between Super Junior and the Filipino ELFs who have stood by them through the years. From the nostalgic echoes of “U” to the heartwarming unity of “Marry U,” every performance celebrated two decades of passion, music, and unwavering love.
They then ended their nearly 3-hour show with their new song “Finale” from their latest album Super Junior25.
