Otaku Pop Fes 2026 is gearing up to be a massive celebration of anime, music, and pop culture, taking over Okada Manila this weekend on April 25 and 26. The two-day festival promises a hybrid experience blending immersive exhibits with high-energy concerts. Here is everything you need to know ahead of the event.
The Music Live Stage
UNIS and Japanese music legends: The absolute highlight of the weekend for our Hallyu coverage is the highly anticipated appearance of the global girl group UNIS. Serving as a headlining act at Cove Manila, the group is bringing their signature “SWICY” energy to the crossover event, alongside a powerhouse lineup of Japanese music legends.

UNIS (Performing Both Days): The K-pop girl group will deliver a fresh experience each day with completely different setlists. Attendees will get the rare opportunity to watch live performances of their Japanese singles, including “Moshi Moshi ♡” and “幸せになんかならないでね Shiawase ni Nanka Naranaide ne (mwah…).” Fans catching their set will receive exclusive UNIS Digital Voice Cards and a chance to win a special stage experience or photo op.

Eir Aoi (Performing Day 1): The renowned Japanese singer will take the stage on Saturday, bringing the iconic anthems behind Sword Art Online.
Hiroshi Kitadani (Performing Day 2): Delivering major nostalgia on Sunday, the legendary artist will perform his recognized One Piece track, “We Are!”.
DJ Kazu (Performing Both Days): Japan’s celebrated Anisong DJ will be spinning tracks and keeping the festival energy high throughout the weekend.

Designed as highly shareable moments for cosplayers and fans alike, dedicated backdrops will be available for Demon Slayer, Attack on Titan, Assassination Classroom, and That Time I Got Reincarnated as a Slime.
The OPF Cosplay Cup Finals
Cosplay takes center stage this weekend with the OPF Cosplay Cup, gathering talented creators for a live showcase of craftsmanship and performance.

Following the close of entries, the live Semi-Finals will kick off on April 25, culminating in the Grand Finals on April 26. The Grand Champion will walk away with PHP 20,000, a 3D2N trip to Japan, a performance slot at a Japanese event, and exclusive merch. The competition will be evaluated by a distinguished panel of prominent creators, including Myrtle Sarrosa, Prince De Guzman, Awie, Een, Lia Bear, Roxanne Kho, and Zackt.
